A Creative Hub of Music Inspiration, Asia Pacific Music Meeting
APaMM 2019 has wrapped up with amidst the highest acclaim. This year, 15 Committee Members, 19 Speakers, 58 Artists, 80 Members from 19 countries have participated in APaMM. To our honored participants, we would like to express our deepest thanks to you all.
We shared multifarious points from 21 music experts at the 6 Conference Sessions and we have successfully progressed the 4 Artists Sessions with 4 difference music specialists. We would like to thank all the music professionals for sharing your valuable and insightful thoughts. We are convinced that the profitable information will be a stepping stone for APaMM development. In the years to come, we hope to share your diverse experience and wide-ranging know-how at APaMM. In addition to that, we had 68 1:1 business meeting during APaMM and achieved result tangible results.
One of the outstanding achievements is having discussions on the cultural exchanges based on music industry among the 15 leading experts from 10 countries through APaMM Forum Committee.
Taking this opportunity of APaMM Forum, Ulsan Arts and Culture(UACF) and Korea Arts Management Service(KAMS) has come to a conclusion with bilateral agreement for establishing effectual channels to discover and to help overseas expansion.
Especially, on Board Meeting held at the first time in closed-door, India and Australia have been unanimously chosen for the Locality Session in 2020. Furthermore, all committee members concurred the necessity of building a networking in the Asia-Pacific music industry and have an earnest discussion on a cooperative system such as sharing artists pool to perform at the each members’ festivals.
APaMM is expecting the role to be a networking platform among the each members’ countries. Especially, some of the committee members proposed to make APaMM Stage and invite some Korean Artists. What is the impressive suggestion is to initiate Asia WOMEX(World Music Expo).
If the key issues mentioned above is attainable, we feel certain that this is the opportunity to start a new chapter on the activation of the music industry in Asia Pacific Oceania Region.
The objectives are clear. The reason we congregate at APaMM is contribution to the expansion of cultural exchanges between countries. it is unquestionable that the long-term interchange must be premised on common goal and cooperation by each member countries. your support and interest is essencial for mutual development.
